Please be advised after careful consideration we have decided to take full responsibility for providing [Name of Child]'s education and will be Home Educating them in accordance with section 7 of the 1996 Education Act.

We therefore ask that the school delete [child’s name] from the school register immediately, in accordance with Regulation 8(1) of the Education (Pupil Registration) Regulations 2006.

We are fully aware of our responsibilities under Section 7 of the Education Act, 1996 and will ensure that [child's name] is provided with an efficient full-time education suitable to their age, ability, aptitude.
